About Us

elumenEd provides dementia education for both family caregivers and caregivers in professional settings. Our innovative courses bring new life and methodologies to topics like the ergonomics of transfers, assisting with dementia behaviors, and self-care for caregivers.

Ben Couch, elumenEd's owner, spent more than 20 years as the national leader of the training program for a major senior housing company. He is also an ''on the ground'' professional educator who taught for several years at the University of Arizona. Because of this, elumenEd's courses blend the most innovative ideas in dementia care with teaching methods that produce targeted change in understanding, performance, and ability to deliver quality care.
