Guns and Hoses

Description

 Guns and Hoses, the kickball tournament among local emergency responders, returns Saturday, March 25, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Riverfront Park in Oro Valley.

  The event, dubbed “Kicks for a Cause,” benefits Project Graduation. It runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  Oro Valley Police Department Chief Kara Riley reports up to 14 teams of players from fire, police and crime scene organizations are competing. Teams from the Oro Valley, Marana and Tucson police departments, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, Golder Ranch and Northwest Fire districts are signed up. There will be food for sale all day.

  Project Graduation, which now spans all three Amphitheater Public Schools high schools, is celebrating 20 years at Canyon del Oro High School.
